Our leading Federal Government client are hiring for a Data Migration Specialist (Oracle) to join the organisation. This role is Sydney based, for an initial 6 month contract.
This role's function is to support and enhance procurement, finance, portfolio management and HR processes through Oracle Fusion Cloud and integrated systems. You will be working on planning a data migration, working on executing and testing, as well as possessing data mapping and analysis skills. This role requires someone who holds NV1 Clearance.
Role Title: Data Migration Specialist
Daily Rate: $1000 to $1064 Inclusive of Super per day.
Location: Sydney CBD Based (50% in office - 2000)/WFH Hybrid
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as a key liaison between business users and IT teams, ensuring seamless communication and understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud processes.
- Analyse business requirements, propose improvements, and implement changes aligned with global templates and best practices.
- Oversee and execute Oracle Fusion system enhancements, configurations, and customisations.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams and implementation partner to deliver and maintain seamless integrations and automation opportunities.
- Manage change requests, document functional requirements, and ensure proper system documentation.
- Engaging with IT project teams throughout the whole lifecycle of projects to identify, develop and deploy data strategies and data plans.
- Create data migration strategies and plans.
- Experience combining data inputs from multiple sources and reviewing, cleansing and aligning the content to the required output.
- Capability to manage outcomes in line with other project teams and whole of project schedule.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules such as: Procurement, ERP, PM, PPM, HCM.
- Strong understanding of procurement, finance and HR functional processes and workflows.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud technologies, including OIC, SFTP, REST APIs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
- Extensive data strategy and planning and hands on data migration management experience technology solution implementation projects.
- Ability to engage with and utilise a variety of data migration tools.
- Experience managing data migration from old to new technology platforms.
- Skills aligning progress within and across multiple technical teams to deliver alignment of outcomes.
Candidates based in Sydney are required and need to be in office a minimum of 50% per week. Additionally, you must possess Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain/or currently possess an NV1 Security Clearance.
