As a Salesforce Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a new Salesforce platform being implemented for a Government client.
This project introduces a cost-of-living initiative designed to help renters port the value of their existing bond to their next rental property reducing upfront financial pressure and simplifying rental transitions.
You will be responsible for validating system functionality, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless and secure end-to-end user experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing business and technical specifications to identify test conditions and acceptance criteria.
* Designing and maintaining comprehensive test cases, test data, and expected outcomes.
* Executing various testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT support.
* Logging and tracking defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and enhance test coverage and quality.
* Contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation opportunities.
* Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
* Proven experience performing manual and/or automated testing within Salesforce environments.
* Experience using test management tools such as TestRail (preferred) or equivalent.
* Hands-on experience with defect management tools including Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
* Exposure to Salesforce functional testing, including UI, data, and integration validation.
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report test outcomes and engage with stakeholders.
