Senior Integration Engineer

A leading consultancy is expanding its engineering capability to support key integration initiatives for a tier-one financial services client. As an Integration Engineer, you'll play a critical role in building and integrating secure, scalable systems and services, leveraging modern cloud-native technologies and Agile delivery practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, secure, and maintainable integrations using RESTful APIs and AWS serverless technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Define and document integration specifications using OpenAPI standards.
• Build and manage integrations with third-party systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and CI/CD practices, including building automated deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and drive continuous process improvement.

Experienced required:

• Proven experience delivering production-grade systems as a Software or Integration Engineer.
• Strong in RESTful API development, system integration, and web application security best practices.
• Skilled in Node.js, Java, TypeScript, with hands-on use of VS Code, IntelliJ, and related tools.
• Deep knowledge of AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Fargate) and CI/CD using GitHub Actions and CDK.
• Experienced in defining APIs with OpenAPI, integrating third-party services, and collaborating closely with stakeholders in Agile environments.
