About the Opportunity

Our client, Sonic Healthcare, is embarking on a major digital transformation - reimagining web and application experiences that connect patients, clinicians, and laboratories across Australia.

We're seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering this journey.

Reporting to the Director of Digital and working closely with the "Craft Lead" for Delivery, you'll reset and uplift multiple product squads, establish consistency in delivery practices, and create a sustainable rhythm of planning, execution, and improvement across our digital portfolio.

This is a hands-on, coaching-focused leadership role suited to someone who thrives in ambiguity, driving clarity, momentum, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and run effective team cadences for product development squads - , establish effective ceremonies, clarify objectives, and embed best-practice Agile rituals.
• Create delivery consistency - align planning cycles, tooling, and metrics across teams (transitioning to Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow).
• Coach and mentor - support Product Managers, Tech Leads, and team members to build confidence, accountability, and delivery capability.
• Standardise delivery operations - help shape a future-state operating model that scales across business entities and product lines.
• Champion pragmatic problem solving - tackle challenges with creativity and resourcefulness

• Embed and monitor delivery metrics (e.g. velocity, throughput, cycle/lead time, burndown, team health) to provide transparency for stakeholders.

• Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, impediments, and timelines to ensure teams are delivering at optimum effectiveness.

About You

You're a delivery leader who thrives on coaching, and outcomes. You've led Agile and hybrid delivery environments before - ideally within complex organisations or regulated industries - and you're as comfortable facilitating stand-ups as you are presenting metrics to executives.

You'll bring:

• 8+ years of experience in delivery leadership (Agile Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager, or Program Manager).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, and hybrid methodologies.
• Proven ability to stabilise and scale delivery across multiple teams or streams.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• A collaborative, resilient, and pragmatic approach to leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
