Role: Solution Architect - Platform
Day Rate: $1000 - $1100 + Super
Contract Length: 6-months
Location: Macquarie Park/WFH Flex

Our NSW Government client is delivering one of the largest infrastructure and technology programs in Australia. We're seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to provide technical leadership, design assurance, and delivery oversight across multiple mission-critical programs.

You will be the key technical authority ensuring that platform, SAP, and OpenText solutions are designed and implemented to meet enterprise standards, security frameworks, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in platform architecture, design, and integration across SAP and OpenText environments.

• Deliver end-to-end platform design and assurance, ensuring alignment with ICT and enterprise architecture strategies.

• Lead technical oversight across project delivery streams, ensuring quality, security, and operational readiness.

• Collaborate with business, product owners, and delivery teams to define, document, and implement scalable and secure solutions.

• Manage and guide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimisation of platform services.

• Promote platform resilience, rationalisation, and efficiency across cloud and on-premise environments.

About You

• 10-15 years experience in IT solution design, with deep expertise across Platform Architecture, SAP, and OpenText ecosystems.

• Strong background in platform-level cybersecurity frameworks and secure solution design.

• Proven experience working with and integrating across:

  • SAP landscape: S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, GRC, SOLMAN, Portal, BW, Gateway, SLD, SAP MBC, Cloud Integration, BOBJ, BODS, Fiori, Cloud Connector, Datasphere, SAC, Ariba, Concur, SuccessFactors.

  • OpenText ecosystem: Directory Services, Content Server, Document Presentment, Archive Center, Brava, Capture Centre, Enterprise Scan/Connect, OCC Validation Client.

• Strong understanding of SQL and HANA database management, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in SAP SaaS products and OpenText-SAP integration.

• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery models.

• Demonstrated experience providing technical governance and assurance in large, complex enterprise or government environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and deliver in multi-vendor, matrixed teams
