Data Modeller

Talenza's client are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data models within a modern cloud data environment. You'll work closely with analytics engineers and BI developers to ensure data integrity, performance, and usability across the business.

Location: Brisbane, 2 days WFH

Employment Type: contract, 6 months + extension

Your role:

• Design, build, and optimize data models in Snowflake.
• Develop and manage data pipelines and transformations using dbt.
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and collaboration.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and adherence to modelling standards.
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable insights.

Skills:

• Proven experience in data modelling and warehousing.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and GitLab.
• Strong SQL and understanding of dimensional modelling principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
