Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to guide the design and delivery of enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions across a complex hybrid environment.

As the Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will act as the critical bridge between business needs and technical execution. You'll translate functional and non-functional requirements into actionable architectural designs and lead the development of scalable, resilient, and highly available infrastructure solutions.

You will work within a predominantly on-premise VMware environment integrated with AWS cloud services, ensuring the organisation's infrastructure remains robust, secure, and aligned with strategic goals.

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, assess requirements, and define solution roadmaps.

• Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures that support high availability, scalability, and operational resilience.

• Lead solution planning and provide technical oversight during project delivery.

• Develop architecture documentation, standards, and models across on-prem VMware and AWS environments.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations that support security, performance, and future growth.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, security, and cloud teams to ensure cohesive and successful implementations.

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong background in VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, etc.) and on-prem infrastructure design.

• Solid experience with AWS services in hybrid or cloud-integrated architectures.

• Demonstrated expertise designing resilient, scalable, and highly available systems.

• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical architectures and project plans.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally within a regulated or healthcare environment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF) highly desirable.
