Role Title: Senior Security Consultant
Duration: 02/02/2026 to 11/12/2026
Location: Sydney CBD / WFH Hybrid
Daily rate: Up to $1000 incl Super

About You:

• Strong background in cyber security or technology risk, ideally within large, complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience leading or advising on complex technology projects or programs.
• Exposure to third-party risk or oversight of managed service providers.
• Proven ability to identify security weaknesses and drive mitigation through to completion.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field; CISSP, CISM, or CRISC highly regarded.

Key Responibilities:

• Lead cyber and technology risk assessments across key projects, ensuring controls and mitigations are clearly defined and implemented.
• Provide clear, pragmatic security advice to project and technology teams, helping them identify issues early and drive secure outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, supporting them to resolve root-cause issues and reduce future risks.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and communicate emerging threats or security gaps, ensuring visibility with senior stakeholders.
• Balance delivery and risk by understanding the broader risk landscape and helping prioritise remediation activities.
