About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to step into a senior IT leadership role within a large and evolving resources organisation. Reporting to the Service Delivery Group Manager the IT Service Delivery Lead plays a key role in shaping how IT services are delivered across both corporate and operational environments.

You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team and encouraged to bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset. While the role includes hands-on involvement, it is equally about leading people, creating, improving & documenting processes - creating positive change.

What You'll Be Involved In

  • Helping shape and improve IT service delivery practices, with a focus on sustainable and people-centred processes
  • Supporting the transformation of the service desk, including the rollout and optimisation of ServiceNow
  • Leading and developing a small, distributed service delivery team across Sydney and Brisbane
  • Acting as a point of escalation while being supported by broader IT leadership when challenges arise
  • Working collaboratively with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Governance teams
  • Building trusted relationships with stakeholders across corporate offices and operational sites
  • Stepping in to support broader leadership activities when needed

About You

We recognise there are many ways to succeed in this role. You may come from a service delivery, operations, or transformation background and be ready to take the next step.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in IT service delivery or service desk leadership within complex environments
  • Experience in process improvement, change, and creating better ways of working
  • A collaborative leadership style that supports and develops others
  • The confidence to stay hands-on when required, without needing to be the expert in everything
  • Experience implementing service management platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Any experience in Operational Technology (OT) or industrial environments is welcome but not required
