Location: Sydney (Hybrid Working Model)

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of our core infrastructure environment and lead a small, capable team of two engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical delivery with people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two infrastructure engineers
  
• Design, implement, and maintain on-prem and hybrid infrastructure solutions
  
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of core systems
  
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
  
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders on infrastructure initiatives
  
• Contribute to infrastructure strategy, standards, and continuous improvement
  
• Support and enhance operational technology (OT) environments where required
  

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in an infrastructure or senior infrastructure role
  
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  
  
  • VMware (vSphere, ESXi, virtualization platforms)
    
  • Cisco routers and switches
    
  • FortiGate firewalls
    
• Experience leading or mentoring technical staff
  
• Solid understanding of networking, server, and security fundamentals
  
• Experience across Operational Technology (OT) environments is highly regarded
  
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
