About the role

A leading Australian financial services company are looking to recruit an experienced Network Automation Engineer in Sydney on a 6-month initial contract for the business.

The role involves being hands on with legacy and next-gen network infrastructure, as well as, leveraging Python and Terraform to automate deployments and streamline processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network components around Cisco ASA and Cisco ACI/APIC
• Develop network automation scripts and workflows to automate deployments to support large-scale migrations
• Mentor automation engineers on APIC and CSM
• Integrate F5 solutions into migration designs

Key Skills:

• Strong network automation skills using Python and Terraform
• Proven experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco ASA
• Knowledge of APIC REST/API models
• Experience working on enterprise firewall policies
• Hands on experience with F5 GTM and LTM
