Technology plays a critical role in enabling this mission, and they are now seeking a QA Automation Specialist to join their growing Technology & Quality Assurance team.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality engineering, automation excellence, and working in an environment where your work has genuine social impact.

You'll be part of a collaborative Technology function responsible for designing, developing and supporting platforms used by staff, clients and providers nationwide. The focus is on industry-leading service delivery, strong cyber security, and regulatory compliance.

Within the Quality Assurance stream, the QA Automation Specialist is instrumental in ensuring platform reliability, confidence in releases, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

As a QA Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks across a complex application suite. You'll work closely with product managers, developers and support teams to ensure releases meet business, compliance and quality expectations.

This is a hands-on role with strong influence across the delivery lifecycle.

  • Review historical software releases to identify defects, risks and improvement opportunities

  • Ensure platform changes are delivered with high quality, reliability and confidence

  • Maintain detailed, accurate and auditable QA documentation to meet regulatory obligations

  • Collaborate with product, development and support teams to validate upcoming releases

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards, tooling and practices

Essential experience:

  • Strong background in QA Automation testing within complex application environments

  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks

  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Salesforce

  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance

Desirable experience:

  • Test automation tools such as Selenium, AccelQ, TestComplete or similar

  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps

  • Test management tools including JIRA, Xray or Zephyr

  • Salesforce CRM testing experience

  • Robotic Process Automation exposure (e.g. UiPath, ABBYY, MuleSoft)

  • Performance and load testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)

  • Security testing knowledge

  • High-quality, reliable releases with strong automation coverage

  • Proactive collaboration across technology and product teams

  • 100% compliance with governance, regulatory and reporting obligations

  • Ongoing learning and awareness of the NDIS and disability sector

  • Consistent contribution to a positive, accountable and team-focused culture

You'll be joining an organisation that values:

  • Client-centred service and genuine compassion

  • Ethical, transparent and professional conduct

  • Teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement

  • Diversity, inclusion and community impact

  • Sustainability and responsible business practices

Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates will be required to:

  • Hold (or obtain) a Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Clearance

  • Complete mandatory NDIS and safeguarding training

  • Comply with information security, intellectual property and WHS requirements

  • Purpose-driven work with real community impact

  • Modern technology environment with a strong automation focus
