Data Modeller

Talenza's client is looking for a Data Modeller with a strong Datavault experience

Location: Brisbane, 3 days WFH

Employment Type: contract, 6 months + extension

Your role:

• Built reusable PySpark frameworks to standardise data engineering practices
• Designed and delivered end-to-end data solutions, including ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure Databricks
• Collaborated with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Delivered reliable solutions using Azure DevOps (Git, Pipelines), automated testing, and platform monitoring

Ideal Background:

• Minimum 5 years Data Modelling experience
• Advanced dimensional and Data Vault modelling, including architecture design and implementation
• Strong SQL and hands-on experience
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills
• Effective working independently or within fast-paced, collaborative teams

Desirable

• Experience with InfoSphere Data Architect or Erwin is a bonus
• Insurance or Financial services experience
