Our client is a large, complex organisation undergoing significant technology transformation. Operating within a highly outsourced, Tier 1 vendor environment, the business is focused on modernising its infrastructure and workplace technology to deliver secure, reliable and high-performing services that support critical operations.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Manager - Infrastructure & End User Compute (EUC) to lead the strategy, delivery and operational excellence of enterprise infrastructure and workplace technology services.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering & Operations, this role is accountable for ensuring infrastructure and EUC services are resilient, cost-effective and aligned to business objectives. You will lead teams and vendor partners across infrastructure platforms and end-user services while driving modernisation, automation and service optimisation.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for enabling a seamless user experience while maintaining strong security, performance and availability standards.
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the infrastructure and EUC strategy aligned to organisational goals
Lead the transition to modern, automated and standardised platforms
Own the roadmap for infrastructure modernisation and workplace technology innovation
Service Delivery & Operations
Oversee availability, capacity and performance of infrastructure and end-user services
Lead end-to-end EUC service delivery, including Service Desk, Desktop Support, VIP support, application packaging, video conferencing rooms, Tech Bar and field support
Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs and compliance obligations
Implement and mature incident, problem and change management practices (ITIL aligned)
Own disaster recovery and business continuity planning for infrastructure services
Team & Vendor Management
Lead, mentor and develop high-performing infrastructure and EUC teams
Manage strategic vendor and Tier 1 outsourcing partner relationships
Ensure managed services agreements meet contractual, quality and performance expectations
Technology & Project Delivery
Sponsor and govern infrastructure and EUC projects, ensuring delivery to scope, time and budget
Champion automation, self-service and proactive monitoring capabilities
Partner closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure platforms are secure by design
Financial, Risk & Compliance Management
Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, forecasting and cost optimisation initiatives
Identify and mitigate operational, security and compliance risks
Ensure adherence to licensing, regulatory and internal policy requirements
Extensive experience leading IT infrastructure and end user computing in large, complex environments
Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure platforms, device management and support operations
Proven people leadership and stakeholder engagement capability
Demonstrated experience operating in highly outsourced or managed service environments
Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
Due to the critical nature of this role, there may be times when out-of-hours support or availability is required to ensure continuity of essential business services.
