We are seeking a Senior Consultant-level Business Analyst (Big 4 or equivalent) to join Tranzformd and play a critical role on a key client engagement. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, and is comfortable bridging business needs with modern technology solutions. This is an initial 6 month FTC role starting ASAP.

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring AI and data solutions are aligned to clear business outcomes and client needs. Working closely with product, delivery, and technical teams, you will be responsible for eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements that guide successful solution design and delivery.

Business Analysis & Requirements Definition

• Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Lead and support discovery workshops and solution definition activities with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure requirements are traceable through delivery and aligned to agreed business outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Act as a trusted liaison between client stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with both business and technical audiences.
• Communicate requirements clearly to technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
• Support decision-making through structured analysis, insights, and recommendations.

Delivery & Agile Support

• Work closely with Product Managers and Delivery Leads to support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Support prioritisation of requirements based on business value, risk, and feasibility.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support UAT planning, coordination, and execution with client stakeholders.

AI & Data Solution Support

• Support analysis for data-driven and AI-enabled solutions, including understanding data inputs, outputs, and business rules.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in defining success metrics and benefits realisation measures.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data specialists, and solution architects to ensure solutions meet business intent.

Governance, Quality & Documentation

• Ensure alignment with Tranzformd delivery standards and client governance requirements.
• Support quality assurance activities by clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to release readiness activities and post-implementation reviews.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Experience

• 4-8+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role across technology, digital, or data-driven initiatives.
• Strong experience working in agile delivery environments.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in client-facing, consulting-led engagements.
• Demonstrated experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

Business Analysis

• Gap analysis and impact assessment

• Workshop facilitation
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication

Delivery & Tooling

• Experience using agile delivery tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Strong documentation, traceability, and governance practices

Problem Solving

• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable outcomes
