Senior Network Engineer - Permanent - Hybrid - Shift Pattern

About the role

A large Australian company are looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer on a permanent basis to work on their Corporate IP Network out of their Sydney office.

The role will be working on a 24x7 rotating shift pattern

Responsibilities:

• Network and Security operations and administration
• Working alongside and supporting junior members of the team
• Analysis and response to security and network events, faults and outages
• Incident, problem and change management practices
• Network surveillance
• Optimisation across IP networks and firewall security

Key Skills:

• Experience with Cisco routers and switches
• Experience with checkpoint or Fortinet firewalls
• Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc
• Experience with analysis tools like Splunk or ELK and network management systems
• Working knowledge of things like Cisco ISE and Campus Wi-Fi
• CCNP level
