About the role
This is a senior hands-on individual contributor role focused on security engineering across the whole environment. Their tooling is best in breed - Crowdstrike, Okta, Netskope, Splunk, Extra Hop amongst others, effectively the tools are in place but need to be fine tuned and automated. They are early in their DevSecOps journey and will be looking to you to help build this out over the next 6-12 months, this is the type of role and environment where you can own technical decisions on new tooling.
In the pipeline for tooling is their Splunk SIEM, you will be front and centre on assessing the existing SIEM and seeing if a change is appropriate.

Duties
- Security engineering across their environment
- Assist on incidents escalated from Crowstrike

Skills and experience
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience as a Senior or Principal Security Engineer
- Strong skills across a range of security technologies
- Skills and experience with automation - ideally Powershell, Terraform or python
- Knowledge and skills in Azure DevOps - highly regarded
- Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
- Industry certifications are highly regarded
