We are currently seeking a Technical Lead to join the team as a consultant on a 12-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative initiatives while continuing to support and enhance critical legacy applications and systems within a complex enterprise environment.

As Technical Lead, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while guiding development best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Analyse user and business requirements and translate them into application features and technical designs

• Design and implement new application features as part of ongoing enhancements

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to technical design standards, code review processes, quality practices, and monitoring guidelines

• Perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing

• Apply development standards and recognised technical design patterns

• Stay current with evolving technologies, standards, and methodologies

• Actively participate in IT team ceremonies and processes

• 5+ years' experience in C# .NET development

• Strong background in application and solution design

• Experience with Azure, microservices, and AKS

• Hands-on experience with on-prem servers, networking, and off-the-shelf software solutions, including vendor collaboration

• Strong SQL experience (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL)

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

• Exposure to AWS and/or Python

• Previous experience within the energy market or related domains

• 12-month contract with a highly competitive daily rate (up to 1000/day)
