Role: Mobile App Developer
Day Rate: $1000 + Super
Contract Length: 6-months
Location: Sydney CBD

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Mobile App Developer to join a high-performing team delivering large-scale, customer-facing digital services. This role sits within a complex enterprise environment undergoing ongoing digital transformation, offering exposure to modern technologies, Agile delivery, and meaningful products used at scale.

You'll work closely with a collaborative team of designers, engineers and delivery leads to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.

The Role

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the design, development and support of mobile applications, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. You'll balance technical excellence with strong user experience, working in an Agile environment where requirements evolve and continuous improvement is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support mobile applications for Android and iOS

• Analyse business and technical requirements to propose effective solutions

• Build new features and user interfaces from wireframes and UX designs

• Develop and integrate APIs to support mobile functionality and performance

• Ensure optimal application performance, stability and user experience

• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues

• Contribute to application design, testing, release and ongoing support

• Work effectively within Agile and Lean delivery frameworks

About You

• 3+ years' experience as a Mobile App Developer or Software Developer

• Proven end-to-end mobile app development experience, including app store releases

• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS platforms

• Proficiency in Java, Objective-C and iOS SDK

• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON and mobile networking libraries

• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns: MVC, MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture

• Experience using Git for version control

• Knowledge of platform-specific mobile UI/UX guidelines

• Experience profiling, debugging and optimising mobile applications

• Ability to deliver quality outcomes in fast-paced, evolving environments
