We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support API-driven initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced financial services environment. This role involves close collaboration with API engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable, technically detailed requirements, ensuring high-quality delivery and sustainable platform solutions.

• Business & API Use Case Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to define customer journeys and business processes driving API demand. Translate these needs into clear, actionable requirements for API teams, ensuring a balance between immediate delivery and long-term platform sustainability.

• API Reuse & Architecture Alignment: Advocate for APIs as reusable enterprise services. Work with architects to ensure alignment with domain models and enterprise architecture, identifying opportunities for consolidation or extension of existing APIs.

• Technical Documentation & Communication: Produce high-quality technical documentation (e.g., API use cases, service definitions, data contracts). Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Delivery & Planning Support: Assist with planning, backlog management, and delivery sequencing for API initiatives. Contribute to sprint planning and prioritisation activities. Support delivery teams through discovery, build, and release stages, ensuring requirements are clear and aligned with business outcomes.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex technology environments, preferrably within the Financial Services industry.

• Strong expertise with APIs, integrations, and distributed systems, with the ability to translate business needs into precise technical documentation.

• Proven experience in agile or hybrid delivery models, working closely with engineers and architects.

• Familiarity with backlog management, delivery planning, or Scrum Master facilitation.

• Experience in regulated environments, such as financial services, is preferred.

• Knowledge of core banking systems, digital platforms, or enterprise data domains is a plus.
