About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data visualization and analysis for an initial 6 months day rate contract with potential extension and opportunity to go permanent - with opportunity for growth and development. This role offers the opportunity to develop and manage internal reporting applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to data-driven decision-making within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal reporting applications, with a focus on Power BI.

• Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations for key business metrics.

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using SQL.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.

• Develop automated reporting systems to improve business processes and operational efficiency.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst .

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to create complex visualizations and interactive reports.

• Expertise in SQL for data querying and analysis.

• Ideally, provide a Power BI portfolio or examples of applications developed in Power BI.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

• Curious, team-centric mindset with a passion for learning and progressing within the field of data analytics.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Data modeling or data science experience is a bonus

• Experience in the Resources/Energy/Mining Sector is an advantage
