We're partnering with a well-established financial services organisation entering its next phase of digital evolution. They have a strong core investments platform, now they need a strategic Product Owner to elevate it, enhance it, and lead the launch of a mobile app ecosystem.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of an existing digital investments platform and shape its next chapter.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You'll ensure product initiatives are aligned to business value, work closely with PMs and the broader Transformation function, and make sure effort is focused on core products that drive commercial outcomes.
A major deliverable?
Launching a new mobile app, extending the platform into a seamless digital experience.
You'll own the vision.
You'll own the roadmap.
You'll own the value delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
Defining and owning the product vision and roadmap for the digital investments platform.
Driving enhancement initiatives across both platform and application layers.
Leading the end-to-end launch of the mobile app experience.
Prioritising initiatives based on customer, commercial and regulatory drivers.
Partnering with PMs and Transformation leaders to ensure focus remains on high-value core product outcomes.
Acting as the voice of the customer and the business.
Translating strategy into executable product increments.
Key Skills Required:
Proven experience as a Digital Product Owner within financial services/wealth/investments.
Strong exposure to investments platforms or similar regulated digital environments.
Demonstrated ownership of a product vision and roadmap (not just backlog management).
Experience launching or significantly enhancing a mobile application.
Strong stakeholder management across technology, operations, compliance and executive teams.
Commercial mindset and able to balance customer value, risk and return.
Financial services experience is highly regarded. Investments domain exposure will set you apart.
