Talenza have been engaged by an Brisbane utilities organisation to find an Azure Technical Lead to build a scalable, integrated azure environment. The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Azure expert with experience designing cloud solutions in an enterprise sized organisation.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• Lead planning and delivery of Azure-based cloud services, Azure Integration Services (including Logic Apps), data platforms and automation initiatives across complex enterprise environments.
• Architect and oversee integration of HCM, Payroll, LMS, Finance and Intranet systems, ensuring consistent, performant and audit-ready data flows from legacy platforms into modern Azure cloud environments.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant Azure and integration solutions, including technical design documentation, implementation planning, release management, CAB coordination and cutover oversight.
• Manage technical implementation of enterprise systems and cloud services within evolving architecture landscapes, supporting cloud maturity uplift and modernisation objectives.
• Embed cybersecurity controls, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery and business continuity planning into Azure and integration solutions, ensuring secure, resilient and standards-aligned delivery.
