Data Migration Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive a complex lending systems migration program. This role will lead migration planning, data analysis, transformation design, and integration mapping as legacy loan management systems transition to a cloud-based platform.

This is a strategic, data-focused leadership role. You will define how data moves from legacy to target state, ensure traceability and governance, and validate migration approaches. Engineering teams will build the ETL pipelines - you will design and oversee the data strategy behind them.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration planning across legacy and cloud-based loan systems
• Analyse source and target data structures and define transformation rules
• Develop and maintain a robust data dictionary and ensure data lineage
• Validate migration plans and establish reconciliation/verification frameworks
• Lead integration mapping to Microsoft Fabric (data warehouse), Netsuite, Encino, and Sugar CRM
• Provide strategic guidance across concurrent migration streams

About You

• 7-10 years' experience in data migration or integration roles
• Strong experience with financial systems (lending highly regarded)
• Proven ability to define transformation logic and validate migration strategy
• Experience with data traceability, governance, and verification
• Consulting mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Background as a Technical BA or data-focused migration specialist
