Talenza is partnering with an innovative technology organisation to appoint a Network & Systems Engineer to support critical infrastructure and cloud services across a complex enterprise environment.

This role will suit a technically strong engineer who enjoys working across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and security domains - balancing project delivery with operational support.

As a Systems Engineer, you will help design, implement and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure services across both on-premise and multi-cloud environments.

Working closely with Architecture, Cyber Security, SRE and broader Technology teams, you will contribute to the ongoing uplift of cloud capability while ensuring operational stability and governance alignment.

• Engineer and support infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP

• Maintain and optimise Linux-based environments

• Support cloud and on-prem platforms to ensure performance, availability and security

• Contribute to automation initiatives using tools such as Ansible and scripting (PowerShell or similar)

• Support CI/CD integrations across infrastructure environments

• Administer PKI environments and manage certificate lifecycle processes

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and incident resolution

• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively address risks

• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Background in IT, Systems Engineering or similar discipline (or equivalent commercial experience)

• Strong hands-on experience across public cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

• Solid Linux/Unix administration capability

• Exposure to containerisation and virtualisation technologies

• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs)

• Experience supporting core network services such as DNS, DHCP and VPN

• Understanding of cloud security controls and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO, SOC, NIST)

• Competitive day rate: $700 - $800 a day inclusive
