Description

Talenza have been engaged by a QLD government organisation a D365 CRM Technical Specialist to lead a D365 version uplift project. The successful candidate must have a deep technical understanding of D365 CRM and will come from a development background.


This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

  • Lead the end-to-end version uplift of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 (including Internet Facing Deployment) to Dynamics 365 V9.0 on-premises, followed by upgrade of the internal CRM 2015 environment to V9.0
  • Define migration strategy and architecture, including current state analysis of customisations, plugins, workflows, integrations, and external applications, ensuring alignment with future CRM roadmap and platform capability
  • Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and deployment of Dynamics CRM/365 environments (on-premises and cloud), working closely with infrastructure teams on server, network, security, and authentication requirements
  • Design and develop CRM solutions including entities, forms, workflows, business process flows, JavaScript, and C# plugins, ensuring compatibility with Dynamics 365 V9 architecture and Unified Interface
  • Execute pre-migration assessments, data validation, system testing, and post-migration support, ensuring minimal business disruption and successful transition
  • Implement security, governance, and external authentication models including role-based access, ADFS, claims-based authentication, and IFD configurations for both internal and external deployments
  • Support integration and platform evolution through hands-on troubleshooting, production support, technical assessments, proof-of-concept initiatives, and documentation of architecture, integrations, and operational processes
