Our NSW Government client are looking for a highly capable and experienced Reporting & Data Dashboard Analyst to join the organisation. In this role, you will be working across an important statewide initiative, building high-quality reporting products, developing data assets and coordinating inputs across multiple government agencies.
Role Title: Reporting & Data Dashboard Analyst
Contract Role Till: Until the 30th of June 2026, with a chance of extending.
Daily Pay: Between $700 - $800 + Super per day.
Location: 3 days per week in office at Parramatta (2150), the rest is WFH.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of reporting products, dashboards, and data assets.
- Coordinate inputs from data suppliers and ensure data quality throughout the project.
- Build and maintain datasets to support reporting on key outcomes and indicators.
- Design and build reporting products/dashboards to meet the requirements of key stakeholders.
- Support the development of counting rules, reporting requirements, narratives, metadata and documentation.
- Work closely with partners within the Department and other government agencies as required.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong skills using data and analytics tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, analytics platforms, SQL or similar.
- Extensive experience in data reporting and dashboard development or similar.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and visualisations.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across agencies.
- Understanding of government data or social policy is desirable but not essential.
Additionally, a Working With Children Check (WWCC, for paid workers), is needed before starting in this role. Other checks include a police check and two references collected.
