A client in Financial Services requires a People Journey Designer to join on an intial 6 months day rate contract too support them on a Workforce Transition initiative. As a People Experience Designer, you will use human-centered design expertise to create people journeys for workforce transition, including reskilling, career transition, and redeployment. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver actionable, practical people experience journeys that align with business transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and validate people experience journeys for career transition, reskilling, and redeployment.
Conduct research to map existing processes, identify pain points, and capture employee experiences.
Develop personas, identify key moments, and create actionable journey maps.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and implement designs, ensuring they meet business needs.
Create clear, practical design principles and artefacts to support target state and implementation.
Work with business and frontline teams to understand user needs and translate findings into actionable outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in service design or journey mapping.
Proficient in selecting research methodologies and designing custom studies for ambiguous situations.
Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from various sources.
Skilled in creating practical tools from research findings, such as templates and checklists.
Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to present research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple validation activities.

Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with AI-driven research methods and emerging testing approaches.
Knowledge of insurance processes such as claims, quotes, and renewals.
Experience with contact center analytics or workforce management tools.
