You'll work alongside delivery leads, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless and controlled releases across multiple environments.
Role Overview:
As the Release Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing software releases across environments to ensure smooth deployment with minimal disruption. You'll act as the central point of control between development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders.
This role requires strong governance capability, risk management skills, and experience managing releases in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage release cycles across development, test, and production environments
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for deployment
- Maintain release calendars, documentation, and deployment plans
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts
- Facilitate release readiness reviews and go/no-go meetings
- Ensure compliance with change management and governance processes
- Support rollback planning and incident resolution where required
- Drive continuous improvement in release management processes
You Will Have:
- Proven experience as a Release Manager, Environment Manager, or similar role
- Experience in Salesforce, CRM, or cloud platform environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools
- Experience managing releases in enterprise or regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and delivery timelines
- Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, Copado, or similar
- ITIL or change management certifications
