Location: Sydney CBD / WFH Hybrid - 50%

About You:

• Previous experience working as a Cyber Security Consultant or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to assess security risks and think like an adversary to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Strong technical expertise with the ability to apply solutions effectively in a business context.
• A curious, analytical mindset with agility to adapt to fast-paced and evolving business needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Solid understanding of security and risk frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST800, PCI-DSS) and related technologies.

About the Role:

• Conducting 'Secure By Design' assessments to align risks with business risk appetite.
• Providing technical security advice, solutioning, and assurance in line with industry best practices.
• Taking personal accountability for identifying and mitigating technical or business security weaknesses.
• Building strong relationships with divisional business and project stakeholders, proactively identifying issues, and improving security consultancy services for divisional and global projects.
• Works closely with the broader cyber security team and other teams to identify opportunities for strategic security solutions.
