Azure DevOps Engineer - 12 Month Contract
$1,000/day (inc. super) | Sydney | Hybrid

We're working with a well-known Sydney-based organisation that is about to embark on a major greenfields cloud transformation, migrating core platforms and infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.

They're looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to play a key role in building out the cloud platform from the ground up. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll help design and implement modern DevOps practices, automation and infrastructure as code as part of a large-scale migration program.

This is a 12-month contract paying $1,000/day (inc. super) with hybrid working in Sydney.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployments

• Implementing Infrastructure as Code for Azure environments

• Supporting a greenfields migration of on-prem platforms into Azure

• Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployments

• Working closely with engineering, architecture and platform teams to embed DevOps best practices

• Improving reliability, scalability and security of cloud environments

What we're looking for

• Strong experience working as a DevOps / Platform / Cloud Engineer

• Hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure

• Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep is a non-negotiable)

• Strong automation and scripting skills

• Experience supporting cloud migrations or large transformation programs is highly desirable
