About the Role
We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to secure a highly capable Senior Technical Business Analyst. This is a key role sitting between business and technology, responsible for driving data-led solutions, improving systems, and ensuring strategic alignment across the organisation.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape data initiatives, lead delivery, and ensure high-quality outcomes across complex programs of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, translating requirements into scalable data solutions

• Align team deliverables with broader business and technology strategy

• Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements

• Lead data solution design, including involvement in data warehousing and system improvements

• Scope and manage projects, ensuring dependencies are identified and minimising change impacts

• Oversee implementation, delivery, and post-go-live support

• Coordinate testing and validation to ensure high-performing, user-friendly systems

• Contribute to business case development and continuous improvement initiatives

• Identify and communicate risks across data processes and controls, supporting mitigation strategies

• Mentor and guide team members while fostering a collaborative environment

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Data Solution Lead or Senior Business Analyst role

• Strong background in data warehousing and data solution delivery

• Experience working across business analysis, system changes, and process improvement initiatives

• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology teams

• SQL querying

• Migration projects exp

• Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and documentation standards

• Experience within financial services (highly regarded)

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or equivalent experience

• Additional certifications in Project Management, Change Management, or similar (desirable)
