Role: Senior Solution Architect
Day Rate: $1000 - $1200 + Super
Contract Length: Initial contract until 18 Dec 26 (high chance of extension)
Location: Macquarie Park/WFH Flex (mandatory 3 days on site)

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design across a portfolio of strategic projects. Working closely with Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, and Business Analysts, you'll translate business needs into scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

You'll operate across the full lifecycle-design through to delivery-ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across multiple programs

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and architecture artefacts

• Define application, integration, data, and infrastructure components

• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and compliance requirements

• Provide architectural oversight across delivery (design - build - test - deploy)

• Guide teams on implementation and resolve complex technical challenges

• Drive alignment with enterprise architecture, roadmaps, and governance forums

• Identify and mitigate risks, technical debt, and design deviations

About You

• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture within enterprise-scale environments

• Strong background across integration, cloud platforms, and data architecture

• Experience working with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, AWS, Azure)

• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and non-functional requirements

• Experience across Agile, DevOps, and traditional delivery models

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to influence across business & tech

• Experience in complex, multi-stream programs

• Higher Education experience highly regarded
