Description

Our client, a leading international education institution, is seeking a high-calibre Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to join the existing delivery team. This is a critical delivery role focused on high-impact enterprise initiatives through a multi-year program aimed at operational excellence.

We are looking for a leader who leads from the front. You should be able to drive results while bringing the team along with you, eventually becoming a highly respected member of the broader Service Improvement Team. A positive, pragmatic, and resilient mindset is essential for success in this environment.

This isn't a "sit back and consult" position. We need a hands-on practitioner who is willing to roll up their sleeves and lead complex, end-to-end improvement projects. You will be responsible for everything from organisational model redesigns to deep-dive process reviews, ensuring that solutions are not just designed, but successfully embedded and owned by the business.

  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead complex projects including operating model redesigns and end-to-end process reviews from problem definition through to benefits realisation.
  • Training: Confidently stand up and deliver in-person training and workshops to uplift capability across the organisation.
  • SME Leadership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Continuous Improvement (CI) and Process Improvement (PI).
  • Sustainable Transition: Ensure all improvements are measurable and sustainably transitioned into the business by the end of 2027.
  • Facilitation Confidence: You must be comfortable and confident delivering in-person classroom training to diverse groups.
  • Practical Expertise: You hold practical qualifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM and have a track record of applying them in complex environments.
  • "Roll Up Your Sleeves" Mentality: A hands-on approach to delivery; you are as comfortable with high-level strategy as you are with the granular work required to get it done.
  • Adaptive Mindset: You are flexible in your approach and maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude when navigating organisational complexity.
  • Disciplined Delivery: A rigorous approach to project management, including scheduling, governance, and risk.
