You'll work within a high-impact digital team delivering scalable, customer-centric platforms that modernise legacy systems and improve service delivery outcomes.
Project Description:
You will support a major Salesforce-based platform transformation, helping replace a legacy platform with a new flagship digital solution. This is a highly visible, enterprise-scale initiative focused on delivering secure, scalable, and customer-first digital experiences.
The role will lead technical delivery across multiple engineering squads, supporting platform build, integration, testing, cutover, and long-term operational readiness.
Role:
As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will:
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of a new Salesforce platform.
- Act as the lead Salesforce developer across product build and engineering delivery.
- Define solution architecture, data models, and reusable integration patterns.
- Design scalable solutions across Salesforce, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
- Work closely with Product Managers, BAs, and Designers to shape epics, stories, and release plans.
- Lead engineering squads, reviewing code, coaching developers, and allocating delivery priorities.
- Drive quality assurance through standards, code reviews, testing oversight, and defect remediation.
- Oversee technical risks, vendor dependencies, and architectural consistency.
- Act as the primary technical liaison across business, delivery, and executive stakeholders.
- Support go-live, data migration, cutover planning, and legacy system transition.
You will have:
- Strong Salesforce technical leadership experience across enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise across Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud solution design.
- Experience with OmniStudio, APEX, LWC workflow automation, and DevOps tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Copado).
- Strong integrations experience with API's (MuleSoft experience highly regarded).
- Experience leading large-scale platform builds and system cutovers.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading Agile delivery teams.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced transformation environments.
- Exposure to AI implementation and Experience Cloud content management (desirable).
