Our Government client are looking for a highly capable Business Analyst - Cyber to join the organisation. In this role, the successful candidate will work around a major cyber uplift project, spanning across the wider organisation's staff and users, as well as interacting heavily with vendors. This role suits someone with previous experience working on Essential Eight uplifts, as well as an awareness of NIST Frameworks.

Role Title: Business Analyst - Cyber

Contract Role Till: 18/12/2026 - high likelihood of extension.

Daily Pay: $850 - $900 + Super

Location: 3 days in Office, at Macquarie Park (2113) and the rest WFH.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering, process mapping, data-driven analysis.
• Discovery work on assets, devices, ownership and vulnerabilities.
• Work with technical teams to understand where Essential Eight controls are not being met.
• Investigate issues and report back clearly.
• Support PMs across deliverables and governance.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Cyber BA experience.
• Familiarity with E8 and NIST.
• Comfortable working with technical data sets.
• Strong summarisation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working with AWS is seen as desirable.
