Role: Solution Architect - Cyber Security
Day Rate: $1000 - $1100 + Super
Contract Length: Initial contract until 18 Dec 26 - High chance of extension
Location: Macquarie Park/WFH Flex (3 days on site)

We're partnering with a major organisation embarking on a multi‑year cyber security uplift and a significant SOC/SIEM modernisation program. To support this work, we're seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong cyber security expertise to join the team on a long-term engagement.

You'll play a pivotal role across several active and emerging cyber initiatives, including:

• A large-scale SOC/SIEM replacement
• Enterprise-wide Cyber Security Uplift (E8/NIST)
• Designing secure architectural solutions for real-world threats
• Network and asset discovery to support prioritisation and remediation

Key Responsibilities

• Designing high-quality security architectures aligned with governance frameworks
• Developing solutions to mitigate real-world cyber threats
• Leading and contributing to architecture forums, technical reviews, and documentation
• Supporting multiple project managers across cyber and technology streams
• Driving architectural decisions across cloud and on-prem environments
• Engaging stakeholders and gaining alignment across diverse teams

About You

• Strong background in Cyber Security Architecture
• Experience with SOC/SIEM platforms (implementation or replacement projects advantageous)
• Framework expertise: Essential 8 (E8), NIST, TOGAF
• Exposure to AWS environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to produce clear, high-quality architectural documentation
• Self-starter who can operate in a fast-paced delivery environment
