Description

Senior Functional Consultant (BA / Product / PM Hybrid)

We're looking for a Senior Functional Consultant to join a high-profile transformation program. This is a unique hybrid role combining Business Analysis, Product Ownership, and Project Delivery.

You'll play a pivotal role across the full delivery lifecycle-working closely with senior stakeholders (including the COO), coordinating across teams, and ensuring successful delivery of product enhancements, integrations, and data migration.

This role suits someone who thrives in complexity and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis across a complex product uplift and legacy migration program
  • Act as a central coordination point across product, technology, and vendor teams
  • Partner with product teams to deliver platform enhancements and capabilities
  • Oversee data migration validation, including financial outputs and reconciliation
  • Ensure accuracy across loan management processes (payments, schedules, calculations)
  • Facilitate integration workshops with vendors and internal teams (3 key integrations)
  • Support and align testing strategy alongside the Test Manager
  • Engage senior stakeholders and communicate risks, progress, and outcomes clearly
  • Contribute to delivery planning and execution across BA, Product, and PM functions
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in complex transformation programs
  • Proven ability to operate across BA, Product Owner, and Project coordination responsibilities
  • Strong background in financial services, lending, or loan management platforms
  • Experience with data migration validation and financial reconciliation
  • Solid understanding of system integrations (APIs, vendor coordination, workshops)
  • Experience in product-led environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including C-suite interaction
  • Good testing knowledge (functional and integration testing)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced delivery environment

Highly desirable:

  • Exposure to private credit or commercial real estate lending
  • Experience working on the vendor side of transformation programs
  • Background in smaller or growing businesses
  • Competitive salary
  • 12-month fixed term contract
  • Sydney CBD location (3 days in office)
  • Opportunity to work on a large-scale transformation program with global impact
  • High level of stakeholder exposure and ownership
