About the Role

This is a hands-on Senior Test Analyst position. You'll be embedded in delivery, writing and executing tests, owning quality outcomes, and working directly across complex integration and API projects. You'll bring the experience to operate independently, influence how testing is approached, and lift the standard of quality across the team, while still being the person doing the testing.

You'll sit within an Enterprise Testing team, working alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists in a cross-functional environment where quality is a shared responsibility and testing is built into how software is delivered.

You will:

• Design, build, and execute test cases across system, integration, API, and regression testing
• Analyse user stories and requirements to identify gaps, risks, and testable acceptance criteria
• Own defect management end-to-end raising, tracking, and verifying resolutions
• Maintain test traceability, documentation, and reporting to a high standard
• Contribute to and maintain automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines
• Engage meaningfully in testing strategy, estimation, and solution design discussions
• Identify quality risks early and influence teams to address them before they become problems

About You

You're a senior tester with the experience to work across complex systems independently, and the technical depth to engage credibly with engineers and architects. You've moved beyond the basics and can shape how testing is done, but you're still hands-on and that's how you like it.

You bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing experience across complex integration and API projects
• Strong manual testing capability across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles including data feed-dependent testing
• Solid API testing experience using tools such as SoapUI or Parasoft
• Practical experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins
• Experience with BDD practices using Cucumber and Gherkin
• Working knowledge of Git/Stash version control
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or FinSim
• Knowledge of web services (XML/SOAP) and integration platform API testing
• Familiarity with Jira, Quality Centre/ALM, or equivalent toolsets
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and how testing fits within the broader SDLC
• Experience in financial services or a regulated domain is well regarded

Your qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, and/or
• Equivalent practical experience in software testing at a senior level
