Project Manager - Process Improvement (Six Sigma)
Melbourne CBD
12 month Day Rate Contract
Up to $1,200/day
Talenza are partnering with one of Australia's leading telecommunications organisations to find an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in process improvement. This is a rare long-term contract role embedded within a high-impact transformation program, where your work will directly influence how a major enterprise operates at scale.
You'll be working alongside senior stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, design solutions, and drive measurable change across complex operational environments - all with the backing of a business that's genuinely invested in getting this right.
What you'll be doing
- Leading end-to-end process improvement initiatives across key business functions within the telco environment
- Applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to analyse, redesign and embed improved workflows
- Managing project delivery from discovery through to implementation, including stakeholder engagement, risk management and reporting
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure change is adopted and sustained
- Producing clear and concise executive-level reporting and documentation
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on process improvement or operational transformation
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (highly desirable) - DMAIC methodology experience is essential
- Background in telco, utilities, or large-scale enterprise environments preferred
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills - comfortable presenting at executive level
- Self-starter who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced contract environment
Why this role?
- Stable 12-month contract - the security of a long-term engagement with a major enterprise
- Competitive day rate of up to $1,200 - reflective of the seniority and expertise required
- Work with a leading employer in the Australian telco market - a name that carries genuine weight on your CV
- Genuinely interesting work - real transformation, real impact, not just ticking boxes
