Position Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Test Practice Manager to join Tranzformd Consulting, working across one of our key clients in the energy sector on a portfolio of large-scale transformation programs.

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing end-to-end testing capability across multiple programs, while uplifting frameworks, governance, and delivery standards. You will act as the central point of coordination across Test Managers, Leads and Analysts, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to program objectives. This is an initial 12-month FTC to hopefully turn permanent past probation (6 months).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight across multiple programs of work, ensuring alignment of testing approach, quality standards, and delivery timelines

• Lead and support a team of Test Managers, Leads and Analysts, driving accountability, performance, and best practice

• Partner closely with senior client stakeholders to shape and execute testing strategy across complex initiatives

• Establish and uplift test frameworks, methodologies, and governance models across the portfolio

• Drive thought leadership within testing, introducing innovative approaches to automation, quality engineering, and delivery optimisation

• Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting across integrated environments

• Ensure strong coordination across delivery streams, including technology, business, and vendor teams

• Support program-level decision making through risk identification, quality insights, and reporting

• Get hands on from time to time to provide additional delivery support when required

Required Experience

• Proven experience operating as a Test Manager / Test Practice Lead / Test Director within large-scale transformation programs

• Strong background in test strategy, governance, and multi-program oversight

• Experience working within complex, integration-heavy environments (preferably within utilities or energy sector programs such as ADMS)

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor testing teams across multiple workstreams

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working closely with senior client stakeholders

Technical Skills / Tooling

• Strong hands-on or leadership experience with Tricentis Tosca (enterprise automation frameworks essential)

• Experience with Jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting

• Exposure to ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management Systems) environments highly regarded

• Experience across API, integration, and enterprise system testing landscapes
