The organisation is investing heavily in modern data platforms and focused on building strong internal engineering capability.

As a Lead Data Engineer (Tech Lead), you'll combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

You'll be responsible for designing scalable data solutions, setting engineering standards, and mentoring a growing team, while contributing directly to the build of a next-generation data platform.

• Design and build scalable, production-grade data platforms
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines
• Deliver data solutions supporting personalisation and real-time decisioning
• Work across modern cloud ecosystems, including Snowflake
• Drive engineering best practices and technical direction
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and uplift team capability
• Support the shift from vendor reliance to internal capability

• Strong experience in data engineering at a senior or lead level
• Expertise in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or comparable CDP tools
• Advanced SQL and strong Python skills
• Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Solid understanding of data architecture and modelling
• Knowledge of data governance (lineage, quality, metadata)
• Exposure to Java or communication orchestration (desirable)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
