Senior Business Analyst (Contract) - Equipment Finance

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong business-facing BA expertise to join a high-performing team delivering critical initiatives within the equipment finance domain. This is a hands-on contract role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, engages confidently with senior stakeholders, and can translate business needs into clear, actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across multiple workstreams
• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Drive process improvement initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to ensure accurate solution delivery
• Support UAT planning, execution, and business readiness activities
• Provide strategic input into business transformation initiatives

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex environments
• Strong business BA skillset (not purely technical/delivery focused)
• Demonstrated experience within equipment finance / asset finance / lending
• Previous migration experience within financial services
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (C-level exposure preferred)
• Strong process mapping and documentation capabilities
• Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall environments
• Ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes in a fast-paced setting

Desirable

• Experience in financial services or banking
• Familiarity with credit, leasing, or loan lifecycle processes
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven projects
