Our NSW Government client are hiring for a highly capable Senior Business Analyst - Process to join their organisation. This role is helping across a wider project of work for organisational structure and requires a candidate who is able to work across process change; mapping processes in the existing structure to ensure all services remain fit for purpose in the new structure and defining changes to functional and process ownership to support future state processes.
Role Title: Senior Business Analyst - Process
Contract Role Duration: 4 Months initial contract, with a chance of further extension.
Day Rate: Between $850 - $950 + Super
Location: Wollongong (2500)/ WFH Hybrid. There is a minimum of 3 days in office per week.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversees the process changes, including the required stakeholder engagement.
- Manage and support the implementation of strategic and project-related business intelligence solutions and reporting frameworks to enable organisational performance, evidence-based decision making and accountability.
- Consult with stakeholders to aid in the mapping of existing and future business processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency across the organisation.
- Analyse and measure performance against organisational goals and objectives, identifying and supporting business process improvements.
- Lead a team to facilitate requirements gathering for projects and process improvements to develop and support business intelligence and strategic planning processes and implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Developing, analysing and reviewing business intelligence, analytics and metrics to support improved organisational performance and business outcomes
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence business process improvement, support and monitor strategic delivery and promote organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, manage and plan to ensure effective and compliant utilisation of assets and resources.
Key Requirements for consideration:
- Experience in workshop facilitation.
- Demonstrated experience in complex process mapping and requirements gathering.
- Demonstrated experience in business process improvement and/or business intelligence and reporting.
- Prior NSW Government experience is deemed favourable.
Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area/ Illawarra or Southern Highlands areas and be able to work on site in Wollongong 3 times a week. Additionally, they must possess existing full working rights in Australia (PR or Citizenship).
