Role: Project Manager
Day Rate: $1000 - $1100
Contract Length: 6-months (with multiple extensions)
Location: Melbourne CBD (with Hybrid WFH)

AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED - Must hold or be eligible for Baseline/NV1 Clearance

We're partnering with a major Federal Government organisation delivering a portfolio of high-impact technology initiatives across a large-scale Data & Digital program.

They're looking for 3 experienced IT Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex projects spanning enterprise platforms, data, applications, infrastructure, and specialist technology domains.

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering end-to-end technology projects within a structured enterprise environment. Working alongside senior stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams, you'll drive outcomes across planning, execution, and transition phases.

These roles suit senior PMs who can hit the ground running in complex, multi-vendor environments - not domain specialists, but strong delivery leaders.

Key Responsibilites

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects across planning, delivery, transition, and review
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Drive stakeholder engagement across business and technical groups
• Manage project governance, reporting, and documentation
• Oversee procurement, resourcing, and financial tracking
• Ensure alignment with enterprise delivery frameworks and standards

About You

• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in large environments
• Strong background working across multi-vendor ecosystems
• Certification in PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent PM methodologies
• Experience with tools like MS Project, Jira, and enterprise PM tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in Government or regulated environments (highly regarded)

Nice to have:

• ITIL / SIAM exposure
• Experience across data, digital, or enterprise platforms
• Familiarity with O365, SharePoint, Teams, GitLab
