About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer / Backend Developer to join a major technology redevelopment program based in Brisbane CBD.

This role will play a key part in replacing legacy, monolithic systems with a modern multi-vendor SaaS architecture, supporting a large-scale uplift across core enterprise platforms.

Current streams of work include:

• Redevelopment of legacy architecture and core backend services
• Replacement of key enterprise platforms including CRM, HRIS, and claims systems
• Delivery of a new customer-facing website launching in July
• Integration of modern cloud-first technologies and scalable solutions
• Supporting the wider digital transformation roadmap through to 2030

This is initially a 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension to 12 months+, with further long-term opportunities available for high performers.

The role offers a flexible hybrid model, with 50% in-office per fortnight, based in the Brisbane CBD.
