Description
A Major Utilities company is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with a strong CASB and DLP background to join the team. Work with the Azure Security stack, and optimise, upgrade their security operations solutions. Hybrid role. Key Responsibilities
- Own and enhance data protection across IT & OT environments
- Optimise DLP, CASB, endpoint security and data classification controls
- Identify risks and drive continuous security improvements
- Monitor, investigate and respond to cyber threats and incidents
- Provide L2/L3 support across security operations
- Lead response to major data protection and endpoint incidents
- Own and secure Azure environments (NSG, UDR, WAF, Conditional Access)
- Design and implement secure, zero-trust cloud architectures
- Ensure effective logging, monitoring and alerting via Sentinel
Desired experience:
- 5+ years' experience in Cyber Security
- Strong expertise across Microsoft security stack (Purview, Defender, Azure Sentinel)
- Experience with EDR/XDR, CASB and endpoint protection tools
- Solid understanding of cloud security and zero-trust principles
- Strong compliance experience - ISO27001
