Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX financial services organisation to find an enterprise data modeler and architect to work on greenfield data transformation. The successful candidate will have proven experience building data models from scratch at a similar size enterprise.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an enterprise data modeller within financial services, with a strong understanding of end-to-end data landscapes across domains such as core banking, payments, risk, and regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build enterprise data models from scratch within large, complex organisations of comparable scale.
• Deep understanding of data modelling concepts across conceptual, logical, and physical layers, with the ability to apply them in both operational and analytical contexts.
• Strong experience in data mapping and transformation, including the ability to define and document source-to-target mappings across multiple systems.
• Solid understanding of data lineage, including tracking data flow across systems and ensuring traceability for governance, audit, and regulatory purposes.
• Technology-agnostic mindset, with the ability to work across a variety of platforms, tools, and architectures without reliance on a specific technology stack.
