Business Analyst - Customer App / Portal

8-Month Day Rate Contract

$700 - $850 a day (inclusive)

Talenza has been engaged by a leading financial services organisation to source Business Analyst for a 8-month contract through to December, supporting major business transformation programs.

This role sits within the PMO and plays a critical part in shaping business requirements, refining product backlogs, and enabling successful Agile delivery across complex initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with Product Owners, cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders to deliver high-impact business outcomes.

About You:

• Business-focused Business Analyst with strong transformation experience (not heavily technical).
• Experience working within customer-centric environments, delivering consumer-facing applications, digital platforms, or customer portals
• Experience working within Agile and Hybrid delivery environments.
• Prior experience in financial services, banking, superannuation, or wealth management is highly regarded.
• Skilled in facilitating requirement gathering workshops, including Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design approaches.
• Experience managing multiple programs or streams of work simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, engaging confidently with both business and technical teams.
• Critical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis across complex transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of backlog refinement, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Skilled in balancing detail with high-level business context and priorities.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent programs.
