About the role

An established financial services company in Sydney are looking to recruit an experienced senior network engineer on a permanent basis to join their projects team.

The role would suit someone with solid experience supporting critical projects on complex networks and requires candidates to work a minimum of 2 days per week from the office

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support in the implementation of phase of business-driven networks projects
• Implement network changes
• Provisioning of all switching infrastructure within the business' data centres
• Provide detailed design documentation when required
• Work as part of a high-performance data-centre networks team

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Cisco Routing and Switching (Nexus, Catalyst)
• Advanced knowledge of protocols like BGP and OSPF
• Technical knowledge of VxLAN EVPN
• Understanding of Orchestration platforms like Cisco NDFC
• Understanding of Automation platforms like python
• Vendor certifications are beneficial - CCNP, CCIE
